First BACnet Airport Conference:
new synergies for smart buildings

| The first European BACnet Airport Conference will take place on 27 and 28 September at Frankfurt Airport. Experts from European airports, including operators and Facility Managers, will be on site to discuss their strategic and technical experiences with the BACnet independent communication standard and the new synergies this creates for smart buildings. As a “First Class Sponsor,” GEZE will be represented by an information booth and expert presentation at the conference.

| Quality of life at any age thanks to thanks to intergenerational products and services is the approach taken by the GGT Deutsche Gesellschaft für Gerontotechnik® mbH (German Society for Gerontology). The society will celebrate its 25th anniversary at an official ceremony on 14th September in Iserlohn. GEZE has worked with GGT for many years, supplying our many accessible product solutions for their show house.

| Under the motto "Sailing into a brighter future" the second National Distributor Conference after 2017 took place. Around 150 international guests attended the event in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province. A big topic was the presentation of the new building automation system GEZE Cockpit.

| The new Roma Cruise Terminal (RCT) in the port of Civitavecchia is a new landing point for Mediterranean cruises and land excursions, and offers passengers maximum comfort even before they get on board. The GEZE Italia subsidiary provides optimal solutions with its series range for automatic doors. GEZE has many years of experience in shipbuilding - all the cruise liners in the AIDA fleet at Meyer Werft are equipped with GEZE products, for example.

Start of training 2018:
the kick-off to a successful career

| In September, we were welcoming 16 new apprentices in three industrial-technical and two commercial IT training professions. They were impressed by everything GEZE has to offer and demands from them. GEZE uses state-of-the-art technology when it comes to automation, digitisation, and networking of doors and windows. We need bright minds to continue to develop and grow our company, people who enjoy taking responsibility and who like to go against the grain and find unconventional solutions.
