Modern new building:
green light for GEZE development centre

| On 20 June 2016, the groundbreaking ceremony for a new, highly innovative development centre was held on GEZE’s premises in Leonberg. GEZE is investing ten million euros in a new building with a total area of 2,300 square metres, thereby significantly expanding its development capacity. Completion is planned for the first half of 2017.

| For the seventh time, GEZE has received the renowned Top 100 award and is now one of the most successful innovators in Germany. At the gala evening of the third German SME Summit in the Colosseum Theatre in Essen, GEZE received the award from Ranga Yogeshwar, Top 100 mentor and science journalist.

the new interface module IQ box KNX

| With GEZE, the windows trade is becoming smart because access to the KNX world is easy with the IQ box KNX. The IQ box KNX allows the integration of the smart window drives from the IQ windowdrives series into the KNX building bus for controlled natural ventilation. At the SicherheitsExpo, the interface module IQ box KNX received the PROTECTOR Award in silver.

GEZE at SicherheitsExpo 2016

| Once again, GEZE can look back on a successful trade fair. From 6 to 7 July 2016, we attended the SicherheitsExpo 2016 in MOC Munich to showcase our innovative solutions. The highlights included new possibilities for integrating GEZE products into smart building networks: with the IQ box KNX interface module, which received an award at the trade fair and the IO 420 module, security products and systems can be integrated into building management systems (KNX and BACnet) and can be monitored and operated more securely and more comfortably.

GEZE products optimise Gelsenkirchen centre of justice
|
| Three components of differing sizes form the new centre of justice in Gelsenkirchen. In a slightly offset arrangement, this new building complex covers a total area of 19,000 square metres of usable space. The innovative functionality and the high quality of the automatic door and security solutions from GEZE underline the efficiency and the security of the judiciary office with maximum comfort for all users. With their discreet uniform look, the systems blend perfectly with the modern, puristic architecture.

| The Children’s Memorial Institute is one of the biggest and most modern childrens’ hospitals in Poland. In 2015, the operating area was expanded with twelve new operating rooms and two intensive care units. GEZE equipped the new area with ECdrive, Powerdrive, Powerdrive hermetic and TSA 160 NT automatic door systems. In addition, various doors were fitted with different GEZE door closers.
