For GEZE, sustainability starts in manufacturing. We are therefore very happy that the combination valve machine we have developed ourselves was honoured by the INDUSTRY AWARD 2017 jury. You can also find information about a new example of our system competence: more than 180 GEZE door solutions have been integrated into the new company headquarters of the IT company Vector, and networked in the BACnet building management system via GEZE interface modules.
Plus: voting for the PROTECTOR award for safety technology will continue until 16 June. We look forward to receiving your vote for the innovation we have submitted – the GEZE front door pack! You can find out more about this in this newsletter.
We hope you enjoy your read!
Kind regards,

INDUSTRY AWARD 2017:
GEZE is one of the best
|
GEZE has perfected installation as well as testing and measuring technology in its manufacturing sector at its Leonberg site, with a combination valve machine that is unique on the market. The new solution makes the manufacturing process more flexible, and therefore reduces the consumption of resources. This makes manufacturing both more economical and more sustainable. The solution developed by GEZE was much appreciated by the INDUSTRY AWARDS 2017 (INDUSTRIEPREIS 2017) jury, and puts GEZE among the best in the 'Production Technology and Engineering' category.

Vector IT campus:
GEZE system competence and service
|
More than 180 GEZE door solutions have been integrated into the new company headquarters of the IT company Vector, and networked in the BACnet building management system via GEZE IO 420 interface modules. 34,000 square metres of built-up area with a foyer open on all four floors, 6,500 square metre of office space, an auditorium, seminar areas, a canteen and an underground car park offer plenty of space for 600 employees.

Lascaux cave:
GEZE door technology leads to ancient works of art
|
GEZE has played a part in the most complex reproduction to-date of the prehistoric Lascaux cave in the French Dordogne, involving more than 2,000 paintings that are faithful to their originals. Automatic door systems by GEZE, lead to the interior, and fit perfectly with the surroundings.

Integration support:
kickoff for a forward-thinking cooperation
|
In order to foster a sense of community and team spirit among the young people at the Seehaus e.V. charitable organisation in Leonberg, GEZE CEO Brigitte Vöster-Alber has donated a foosball table to the facility. GEZE trainees delivered the table at the end of April in the presence of Seehaus founder Tobias Merckle. He also founded the foundation Hoffnungsträger Stiftung. This foundation works on behalf of refugees and asylum seekers in Germany. GEZE is collaborating with the foundation Hoffnungsträger Stiftung, and will be working on a long-term basis to integrate refugees into the job market.
