To be ready for the future, in-house training is very important to us, which is why we are running our GEZE Next! info days for pupils again this summer. We invite you to tell young people you know about it.
In July, we will be presenting interdisciplinary safety solutions at the SicherheitsExpo security trade fair and with us as a partner, making your smart building even safer and more comfortable.
Modernity paired with safety and comfort are at the heart of our reference project “Brighton’s vertical pier”.

E 250 NT AB spindle drive:
now used in exterior areas and wet rooms
|
| The E 250 NT spindle drive with IP rating IP65 is dust-proof and jet-proof. However, penetration of moisture into the housing cannot be ruled out (air pump effect), and condensation may form – due to temperature differences – which cannot be prevented. To solve this problem, GEZE offers a special electric spindle drive with ventilation element: GEZE E 250 NT AB. Due to its special breathable membrane it is suitable for use in wet rooms, in locations with large temperature fluctuations and in protected exterior areas.

ibau grants the “Oscar of the construction sector” in the building trade

| Over the past year, aided by Heinze market research institute and the online platform “Helden am Bau”, ibau asked around 3000 craft businesses from different trades, which of their almost 300 manufacturers within the defined product categories were the best rated. There were approximately 26 categories to choose from, ranging from acoustics and interior acoustics, construction chemistry, masonry, insulating materials, facades, dry wall construction to EIFS systems. “It was the largest and most comprehensive review of German trade so far”, said Sven Hohmann, Managing Director of ibau in Münster. The tradesmen shared their ratings on product quality, price and processability, and also justified whether they would recommend the specific product. “Thanks to the award, craft firms have been given the opportunity for the first time to say which manufacturers make which products particularly well and comprehensively – so not just in one sector”, explained Hohmann.

Discover GEZE – discover the future!

| GEZE is inviting pupils from class level 9 and above and all young people interested in vocational study to find out more about the different training and study options in the company on site. GEZE NEXT! info days will be taking place before the summer holidays in 2017 on three Friday afternoons from 2 pm to 6 pm. Each of the info days is devoted to one profession, with the focus being technical careers (30 June), IT careers (14 July) and commercial careers (21 July).

| Opened in August 2016, the jaw-dropping building is a true tourist attraction. Beneath the tower is the beach building with an event space, shops and a restaurant. The strong winds make the use of sliding doors an excellent choice. In the stunning glass facade, six pairs of sliding doors with Slimdrive SL NT drives provide access to the event space. These are not only highly resistant, they are also able to handle the high number of visitors thanks to their operational performance.
