| Opening celebrated: new development centre at Leonberg site
|
| GEZE has invested 13 million euro in the construction of a new, highly modern development centre. The opening was celebrated on 20 October 2017 and attended by Dr Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut, the Minister of Economic Affairs, Labour and Housing in Baden-Württemberg; Bernhard Schuler, mayor of Leonberg; and the GEZE corporate management. With the new building, GEZE offers ideal working conditions to expand its innovative strength further on.

| GEZE Powerturn F-IS/TS: winner of the German Design Award
|
| Outstanding design recognised at one of the world's most lauded design awards: the Powerturn F-IS/TS swing door drive system has been announced the winner of the German Design Award 2018. This top prize is awarded by an international panel of experts of the German Design Council.

| GEZE ActiveStop: Focus Open in Silver
|
| Having received an award in 2015, the GEZE ActiveStop door damper for internal doors has now received the Design-Center Baden-Württemberg Focus Open 2017 award in Silver for the new version that is fitted on the frame. The product is on display until 22 November 2017 in the associated exhibition in the 'MIK Museum Information Kunst' in Ludwigsburg.

| In Europe: GEZE at Batimat and the Smart Buildings Show
|
| GEZE will be represented at Batimat in Paris from 6 to 11 November 2017. At this globally leading construction show, we will be presenting our innovations in the fields of door, window and safety technology as well as building automation. The Smart Building Show, taking place in London on 8 and 9 November, will also look at the subject of networking. Visitors will be able to see for themselves how GEZE solutions turn buildings into true Smart Buildings.

| FenestrationBAU China 2017 is also about building automation and further latest trends for the construction industry. In the German Pavilion of the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, GEZE will present its latest solutions in door, window and safety technology from 7 to 10 November 2017.
