We are very happy that the foundation Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung has honoured our Chief Executive Officer, Brigitte Vöster-Alber, with the “Prize for Social Market Economy”. “She is the driving force behind the goals of the family business, and the guardian of its values. She is also a fine example for entrepreneurial vision, the capacity for innovation, and a high level of responsibility towards the company’s employees, but also towards society and the environment”, the jury said in its statement.
With regard to our participation in trade fairs, we can look back on a successful first appearance at the belektro in Berlin. Our next event in the German capital is the architect@work – go see for yourself on 9 and 10 November!

| The foundation Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung honoured Brigitte Vöster-Alber, GEZE’s Chief Executive Officer, with the “Prize for Social Market Economy 2016”. She received the prize at a celebration attended by around 300 guests, including the Minister of Economics, Labour, and Residential Construction in Baden-Württemberg, Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut, Frankfurt’s retired Mayor Petra Roth, and councillor Dr. Bernd Heidenreich, which took place on 13 October in Frankfurt’s Paulskirche.

| A new children’s hospital in Johannesburg is being named after Nelson Mandela, the first President of democratic South Africa. The highly modern building, which will also serve as a research facility, is equipped with numerous GEZE door closers, manual sliding door systems, and automatic door drives.
